The Full spectrum Doula Handbook

The full spectrum Doula: A handbook

For the last few months I’ve worked diligently on a handbook for full spectrum doulas or those who wish to support others during an abortion, miscarriage or stillbirth. The idea came years before when I was looking for materials on full spectrum work. I found very little, if anything on it.  That in itself really upset me and made me want to give up.  I found that there were only a few training classes that were available across the country and none in my state.  I didn’t have the resources or time to attend a training so I did as much as I possibly could to learn about full spectrum work . I read blogs, books and websites relating to supporting people during that time along with taking a six week online course.  Now my handbook is available to be purchased and downloaded.

I sincerely hope that this can be a starting point in your journey as a full spectrum doula or a doula in general. Peace and blessings to you.

My Passion

Full Spectrum doula work is my passion! Working with women to take back their reproductive health along informing and educating them on options has become my life’s work. Throughout the years of me working and volunteering, I’ve always came back to reproductive health and justice work. Being a women of color in America has taught me that we are an underserved community in general as far as reproductive justice and rights is concerned. Society often forget about the marginalized people who need support through some of the most difficult times in their lives. People experiencing abortion, misscarriage and fetal loss all need support through those difficult times.

My goal as a full spectrum doula is to provide caring and nonjudmental support during your time of need. If you feel lost and alone orjust need someone to hold your hand and reassure your through the process I can help.
